Robert has a great post about the need for examples of Flex and Apollo apps that will appeal to decision makers in the enterprise. I’ve seen FlexBI from the guys at FarataSystems — anybody have some other examples?

    Hello,

We have developed a complete mini-ERP using Flex 2, a Coldfusion 7.02 backend and Openbase as our SQL database engine.

CMaker5, as we call it, offers a slew of business modules needed to operate a SMB (70 employees) in the manufacturing area including management of overseas production and distribution.

We will develop a demo database and set a website to host a public version of the application. We hope to have it up by summer.

The power of Coldfusion coupled with the ease of maintenance of web-based applications helped us convince management easily.

Since all business delegates functions reside in CFCs we will be able to reuse most of that code to develop a web-based counterpart to help customers enter their own orders online.

I’ll be happy to answer questions about our project !!
